Extreme Network Switch Type integration

Hello,

In our network environment we use roundabout 80 switches from Extreme Networks. In order to recieve a detail network map our Switchtype must be supported.

Is it possible to integrate the following switches in ISM?

Summit Series:

X440-G2

X460-G2

X620

X690

How long does it generally take to integrate a new switch device?

With best regards,

Thomas Andrejewski

because of the new network device strategy, partnering with juniper this request could not be implemented.

The import of 3rd Party devices is still possible with Generic SNPM or IPMI monitoring.

Therefore we change the status to will not implement

The availablity of this idea has now a target schedule for ISM V 2.7.0.030. This tentatively is in March 2022 timeframe.

Thank you very much for your request! We are always trying to improve ISM and its functionalities, so it is very helpful to get your feedback.

X440-G2 and X460-G2 are already supported by ISM but without the Network Map Function.

Unfortunately, as of now, we do not have those Extreme Networks Switches on our roadmap, so they are not yet planned to be supported in the near future.

    Best regards!
