We use ISM for about 4 years now and this is a request from the early beginning. Yest it would be very convinied to do all IRMC settings from within ISM. In our situation where a server moves from one department to the next with different users/rights we now have te reconfigure servers with .pre files where when we can use profiles/policies ISM would change these settings according to the profile.
This would be must faster en more reliable. So I vote for this option. Maybe it helps to move this implementation to the front.

After further clarification with Jörg Pradel we think that the key issue is the limited posibility to set / configure all the iRMC parameters. Exactly this is the topic of a very popular idea which already is in planning phase at ISM development. But right now the taget version for the implementation is not yet decided. We will keep you updated about the progress.
