In order to be able to make all BIOS settings for a server generation, a "model profile" is required.
Under Structering> Profiles> Actions> Add Profile you can only create a "general profile" where can only make a few BIOS settings.
This can only be created, however, if a server of the corresponding model has been registered beforehand.
The profile that was created during registration must first be released and renamed and can only then be adapted as a template.
On the one hand, this is relatively time-consuming and cumbersome and because you cannot change the standard sorting, profiles of new models are always at the bottom of the list.
For these reasons, only general profiles have been created so far (Actions> Add Profile) and the recommendations of the Fujitsu White Paper have been implemented there.
In order for profiles that are used as templates to continue to be at the top of the list, profiles of active servers had to be released and then renamed.
Because we used “General Profiles” as a template due to the effort and sorting involved, there were always problems when loading these templates onto newer server models.
That’s why we get mismatch and error messages relatively frequently under Profiles.

We understand your pain-points: the limitations with "general profile" and the issue with the sort order. We need to continue our internal discussions with development team and will consider this idea for a future improvement.
