Now the situation with iRMC S6 is clarified:
Support is planned for ISM V2.8.0.030 (end of March 2023) if all prerequisites are provided right in time.
Additional information for iRMC versions other than S5 regarding the implementation of this idea:
iRMC S4：not supported and not planned
iRMC S6：not yet supported but planned; date for availability is not yet defined.

This idea was released in October 2022 with ISM V2.8.0.010.
The new option is available when the update mode is SimpleUpdate.
Prerequisite: iRMC S5 with firmware version 3.41P and newer.
Yeah! 1y later I see the progress! I am looking forward to test this feature in Q4-22. Thx a lot!

This idea will be implemented and is currently scheduled for ISM V2.8.0.010 with a target release in second half of October 2022. So we will change the status to "Planned".
Unfortunately, there is not yet a concrete plan when this feature will be implemented. Our development colleagues are investigating different solutions, but there is no timeline available yet. I will keep you posted if this changes.

Dear Jürgen Kopp, thank you very much for your idea and the shared screenshot. A similar idea has been raised recently by another customer as well, so we are considering this function. The next step is to discuss this internally with our ISM development team as it cannot be implemented trivially.
