Patchpanel precabling between Racks

I would like to map our infrastructure and fill it with all information, such as the cabling. There is already the possibility to show cabling between servers and switches with the function "Networkmap".

However, there is no possibility to show the cabling between server cabinets. There is the function "3D-View" and "Networkmap", but it is not possible to "draw" cabling between cabinets, to have a full overview of the Network.

It would be great to display the connection between Racks.

    See also idea ISM-I-130 "Extension of Network Map view" with the same intension.

    Thank you Marco Simon for this very valid idea. This will be a logically expansion to the "Networkmap" view. We will consider this in our next discussions with our development team.
