Add Equipment without Node properties

We have in our network server racks, in some height units, equipment and fans etc. which are "no servers/nodes". We only have the ability to add nodes so far which cost a license each. Is there a way to map devices etc. without using a node license for it?

    We receivend an instruction for this request:

    manually register the model as other, and register it as any model name.

    At that time, you can specify the rack position. If you do not specify an IP address, you do not need a node license.

    Because of this possbility we are going to set the status of ISM-I-202 to "already exists"

    Thank you Marco Simon for this idea. We have a very similar idea already which is making the demand very obvious. We will further discuss this internally how we can increase the priority for that.
